In this unique, underwater adventure, kids ages 8 to 13 surface SCUBA dive with our staff in the Great Tide Pool and meet the amazing critters who live under water.

Kids get a fish's-eye view of the tide pool as they float safely on the surface wearing a mask, regulator, drysuit and specialized SCUBA gear. Certified dive staff assist kids in the water and introduce them to the rocky environment. No SCUBA experience is required, but participants must have basic swimming skills.

The small group size (no more than 12 young divers in each session with four staff) ensures a safe and educational experience for everyone. The program includes a briefing for the entire family and staff instructs the participants on important safety information.

Each child gets an introduction to SCUBA gear and takes home a dive log to commemorate the day. We provide all the gear; no bathing suit or towel required.

In Person: You may register at the Aquarium Adventures desk in the main lobby of the Aquarium.

Fees: Registration fees do not include Aquarium admission. You must also purchase tickets to the Aquarium at the time of registration for all Adventures that take place inside the Aquarium.

All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Cancellation: We require at least 72 hours notice in order to offer a refund. A cancellation fee of $5 applies. Reservations and cancellations are processed by phone or in person (not by e-mail).
