Holidays in StoreFriday, December 5
(7 p.m.-10 p.m.) Kick off the holidays with a special Member Night featuring our gift and bookstores! Enjoy an additional 10% off as you shop for unique holiday gifts, and meet the authors, artists and craftspeople who created them. Share local wines and holiday cheer in the Aquarium at its festive best. The additional 10% discount (20% total) will be available to members only through Sunday, December 14. Holidays in Store Dinner: 6 p.m., 8 p.m.; $34.95 adults/$13.95 children under 12 (plus tax and gratuity) Join us for dinner and add a holiday treat to your evening. If you like jazz, this evening event is for you! A blend of great jazz and beautiful exhibits makes for an unforgettable evening.
 Picnic by the BayJuly 2009
Picnic near your favorite exhibit or on one of our many oceanfront decks and watch an evening sea otter feeding or kelp forest dive. You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, or purchase them in the Aquarium. The Portola Restaurant will not be serving dinner.
 Halloween Dance PartyOctober 2009
Put on your costume and join the skeletons and sea stars, black cats and bat rays for an evening of haunted activities and ghostly good times. Kids of all ages love this event featuring face painters, strolling magicians and stilt walkers.
